Terms of service

By creating an account or using zapsms you agree to these terms, together with our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and EULA. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

  1. 1. Payment

    Every verification and rental is paid from your prepaid wallet balance and is charged the moment you place the order. You top the wallet up with cryptocurrency (or by card when it is available). Network fees and processor fees are shown before you pay and are part of what you send; your wallet is credited the amount you requested.

  2. 2. One-time numbers

    A one-time number is for receiving the verification SMS from the service you selected, on an account you are entitled to create or access. One order is one verification: once the code is delivered the order is complete, and the number is released and may be recycled. Messages from other services or senders are not guaranteed and may be discarded. You are responsible for following the law and the terms of the service you verify with.

  3. 3. Time window

    Each order has a countdown window, usually 5 to 15 minutes depending on the service, to receive the code on the number. Numbers are one-time use: once your code arrives the verification is complete. Start the verification on the service as soon as the number appears, and enter it exactly as shown, including the +1 prefix.

  4. 4. Refunds

    • If the code does not arrive, cancel the order, or let it expire, for a full refund to your wallet balance. Expired orders are refunded automatically.
    • Refunds go to your wallet balance, not back to a card, crypto wallet or other payment method, and a delivered code is not refundable.
    • There is no refund when a service rejects a number it should accept, or restricts or bans an account you registered. Those decisions depend on many factors outside our control. If a carrier recycles a number and the service says it already has an account, contact support and we will replace or refund the order.
    • Repeatedly ordering a number, using it and then cancelling or claiming it never arrived is abuse of this term, and we may restrict the account.

  5. 5. Rentals

    • A rental keeps one US number reserved for you for the period you paid for.
    • Enhanced (All services) lines work like a real phone number: they receive SMS from any sender, including all 2000+ supported services, all on one line. All other lines are limited to the single service you chose when you rented.
    • Only rentals of 30 days or longer can renew automatically, because only those have a billing cycle. Shorter rentals are one-time and end when the period is up. Renewable rentals bill again at the end of each cycle; cancel before then to stop.
    • A rental can be refunded from its page within 30 minutes of purchase. If a carrier recycles or blocks the number during the rental, contact support and we will replace or refund it.

  6. 6. Wallet and top-ups

    • Credits are prepaid and tied to your account. They cannot be sold or transferred to another account.
    • Crypto payments cannot be reversed. Send the exact amount shown, to the address shown, on the network shown. Funds sent on the wrong network cannot be recovered. If a payment has not credited after an hour, contact support with the transaction ID.
    • Card payments must be made with a card you own. If a payment is reversed or charged back, the credit it bought is removed from your balance even if it has been spent, and the account may be restricted until that is settled.
    • Deleting your account forfeits any balance left on it, so spend it or contact support first.

  7. 7. What you may not do

    You may not use zapsms for:

    • anything illegal, or anything that harms us or other people;
    • fraud and deception, or impersonating another person or organisation;
    • bypassing security or verification measures in order to deceive, or evading a platform's ban or safety systems;
    • spam, phishing, smishing, malicious links or social engineering;
    • abusing the referral program, or creating accounts to exploit promotions or refunds;
    • interfering with the service, or trying to get around its limits.

  8. 8. Availability

    Stock and prices come from our carrier partners and change throughout the day. Some services and senders block certain numbers or never deliver, and we cannot guarantee that a given number will work with a given service. We are not responsible for a service refusing a number, a carrier outage, or what happens to an account you create. zapsms is provided “as is”, and our liability for any issue is limited to the wallet balance affected by that issue.

  9. 9. Your account

    You must be 18 or older. Your password, Google sign-in and any other credentials are yours to protect, and everything done under your account is treated as done by you. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

  10. 10. Where zapsms is available

    zapsms is not available to citizens or residents of the United States or Russia. By registering or using the service you confirm that you are not a citizen or resident of either country and that you will not access the service from within either of them. Registering or using zapsms from the United States or Russia breaches these terms and may lead to your account being closed without notice. We may check where users are located and act on what we find.

  11. 11. Breaking these terms

    If you break these terms, or we receive credible information that you have, we may restrict, suspend or close your account, with or without notice, and where reasonably possible we will tell you why. Credit obtained through fraud, chargebacks or other abuse may be removed or withheld. We are not liable for harm caused by a restriction applied under these terms.

  12. 12. Changes and contact

    We may update these terms as the service changes; continuing to use zapsms after an update means you accept the new version. Questions? Reach us through the support page.
