Receive the Yale Access verification code on a one-time US number.
Trying to sign up for Yale Access and it won't accept your number? Many platforms reject virtual and VoIP lines. A zapsms number is a real, non-VoIP USA number - a physical-SIM US mobile number, so Yale Access treats it like any other US phone - and the OTP (one-time verification code) arrives on your order page in seconds.
When you buy a one-time Yale Access verification, a fresh US number is yours alone: one customer per number, one verification per order. There is no SIM card to install and nothing to configure - the number appears the moment you pay, you enter it on Yale Access, and the SMS lands automatically.
Keep your personal number private. Every Yale Access signup you run through zapsms uses a disposable number you never need to give out again. If the code never arrives, you get a full refund to your wallet - no questions asked.
